Crop & Split
Recompose — or make many photos from one
Rotate, flip, two-point leveling and freeform cropping — plus splitting one scan into multiple standalone files. A strip of frames captured in one shot, a whole page of prints scanned at once: NegRGB splits them into finished photos.

Highlights
- —90° rotation and flipping, applicable to multi-selections in batch
- —Two-point leveling: pick two points to auto-straighten horizon or verticals
- —Full set of crop ratios: free, original, 1:1 up to 65:24 and custom
- —Hold Alt at 1:1 to fine-tune the crop on the uncut frame
- —Split mode creates multiple regions, each rotatable and resizable
- —Split results export as numbered files, placed right next to the source
- —Perspective transform works with crop: the warp anchors to the full frame, WYSIWYG
Crop and level
Crop mode drags to move, resizes from edges and corners, and rotates outside the frame with a grid and angle readout; ratios include free, original, 1:1, 5:4, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 65:24 and custom, with one-click orientation swap. For tilted scans, leveling mode takes two Shift-clicked points to define a reference line, straightens to horizontal or vertical by angle, and auto-crops the black edges away — the points stay for further tweaks. At 1:1, hold Alt to fine-tune the crop frame on the full, uncropped image.
One photo becomes many
Captured several frames in one camera scan, or scanned a whole page of prints? In split mode, Shift-drag to create multiple regions — each can be moved, resized and rotated independently, and Shift+Alt-drag duplicates one. Thirds guides aid composition, and the wheel zooms for precise alignment. Hit "Split" and every region exports as its own numbered file, automatically placed next to the source photo with the ordering persisted.
Non-destructive, always reversible
Crop, rotation and leveling are just parameters: the original scan is never touched, and you can reset to the full frame anytime. The crop region cooperates with masks, dust healing, vignette and everything else — heals anchor to physical defects, vignette is computed from the crop frame, so every adjustment stays correct no matter how you change the geometry. The perspective transform is equally non-destructive: the warp anchors to the full frame, so editing the crop afterwards never re-interprets the result.
